The problem with people who love Star Wars is they’re never casual fans. They grew up with it, passed it on to their children and have very strong opinions about the prequels. They’ll tell you about the prequels whether you like it or not. Giving them gifts is daunting because they already own every trivial thing. But if you do it right, they’ll recognise you actually cared enough to get them something they don’t already own.
Which is why we took this seriously.
We wanted to find stuff that would impress a genuine Star Wars geek. Not just stuff. But good stuff. Key details matter to a Star Wars fan and this isn’t merchandise for merchandise’s sake. It’s the kind of thing you won’t find sitting on the shelves of your local supermarket come Christmas Eve. When you put this under the tree you’re showing someone you put some thought into what you were buying.
Every item here has been hand picked by us and we had one simple question when choosing every item. Would we buy this for a real Star Wars fan? Would they say thank you or shuffle it aside with a grin and file it away as dinner party Batman cave gift insurance?
