Sports
They’re up when others are sleeping, talking about their sport like they can’t quite get enough of it. They already have everything they need but have also found some way they need more. Buying for the athlete in your life is easy and difficult. Easy; they care about their kit. Difficult; they know it inside out and any cheap crap sticks out like a sore thumb.
We built this collection thinking of that pressure. We didn’t want to make jokes and gift sports branded jumpers that will live in a drawer half the year. We wanted to pick stuff that earns its place in their training bag, routine and sport. We wanted to pick stuff that someone who takes things seriously will actually use.
That meant cutting out a lot of the obvious. Logo water bottles that look good but leak. Gadgets that “guarantee” recovery and feel like they buzz when you touch them. Expensive protein powders with gimmicky packaging. If we didn’t think we would want it or they would score highly on, it didn’t make this list.
The selections we’re left with are better for it. We’ve got gifts for different sports and types of athletes. The endurance runner that has to consider recovery as much as their pace, the gym goer that has been looking to improve sleep and recovery for ages or the cyclist that probably has enough bikes but never enough to improve the ride. They all overlap, we’ve found gifts that cover multiple.
Speaking of we kept the price points realistic. Some of the best gifts aren’t the most expensive. We’ve selected items that sit across different price points because the athlete in your life could be 18 or they could be 50. What matters is you’ve made the effort to pick something they’ll actually use.
Hopefully we’ve made that easy for you. Here’s everything we picked for the athletes in your life.
