Seattle Seahawks
There is a type of sports fan who do not need convincing. They already have the jersey, they already follow the injury report, they were already up watching the game at some ungodly hour. They do, however, need somebody in their lives who cares enough about that to stock up for game day. That was the kind of fan we were thinking about when we curated this gift collection.
If you know Seahawks fans, you know they take it seriously. The 12s have built a reputation and for good reason. Ever since CenturyLink (now Lumen) Field has registered as an earthquake during plays, the people causing those tremors do not want some gift felt to be an afterthought. They want something that matches how much they care about something. That is why we did not bulk this out with stock team merchandise that could easily be for any team. Everything is considered and worthy of giving.
We considered all of the scenarios where you could pull this gift box out. Maybe it’s the birthday during season, and whoever is unwrapping your gift is half paying attention to their phone. Or maybe it’s Christmas for that person whose living room becomes a mini watch party every weekend from September-January. Maybe it’s your buddy who has religiously attended every home game and can’t stop talking about making the pilgrimage to Seattle. Maybe it’s your kid who just got into the team and is at the start of what will become an often painful lifelong obsession.
In all these instances we kept coming back to one question. Would a true fan actually want this or did we just slap a logo on it? If you’re buying for a real fan you know the logo alone is enough. We wanted to find stuff that actually made sense to someone who already knows everything about their team. They can tell you who originated number 12 before it was passed to the fans. They definitely do not need you explaining why that shade of green matters.
Because of that, this collection is intentionally small. We do not want to overwhelm with quantity. We wanted to make sure we did this right for the fan in your life.
