Knowing what to get a Clippers fan isn’t easy. Not because there’s a shortage of gifts you can give…but because a lot of the stuff available is the same generic gear you could get for any team, in any city: logo shirts, foam fingers, team hats. We didn’t want to show you that stuff. Clippers fans deserve better than that, and frankly so do you.
Consider who makes up this fanbase. Decades of being the also-rans in their own arena, of having to earn their loyalty rather than being gifted it, of clinging to this thing because they believed in it when no one else did. We held ourselves to a high standard. If something felt remotely generic, if we thought it could just as easily belong to any other team if they swapped the colours, it didn’t make the cut.
