There’s a type of person who has either named a cat Mehrunes, or discussed the lore implications of the Dwemer’s disappearance for three hours straight with a stranger on the internet. You know one. I know one. You might even be one. Either way, it’s hard to find stuff to buy them because Elder Scrolls merch ranges from cheap toforgettable and Elder Scrolls fans have very good bullshit detectors.
Which is why we compiled this list.
If you’ve spent any significant amount of time in Tamriel, it means something to you. Hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours building your own personal story in a world so deep and history-rich that most other games don’t even try to compare. Someone who logged four hundred hours in Skyrim or read every book in Morrowind isn’t going to care about some cool dragon mug they can find at Target. They want something that knows they know what’s up.
We did our research. If there’s one thing obsessing over videogames teaches you, it’s how to hunt down that one obscure piece of merchandise that you just can’t live without. We wanted stuff that an ED-E wielding Skyrim main would be proud to display. Things that a Dragonborn champ or Morrowind expert would know say “these people get it”. We threw out anything that was generic, only picking items that referenced ideas and locations that fans actually cared about. And we made sure that each product was actually well made. This isn’t merch we liked because it advertised the game’s logo 300%. We kept things we would actually give as gifts to ourselves.
