Some characters are reduced to jumpuit merch faster than others. Logo on mug. Cowl on a hoodie bag. Symbol slapped on whatever will take printer ink. Batman’s been done to death more than most and that means going the extra mile to find something worth giving takes more effort than it probably should. We did that effort so you don’t have to.
When it comes to Batman as a gift subject the people that like him really like him. This is NOTさん区lify eligible fans territory. Your giftee will probably have opinions on what their definitive run of the comics is, which movie they would fight you over and whether the '66 campy one was more revolutionary than it gets credit for. A massive motivation for putting this together was solving that problem. We hunted down the stuff that we felt would hold up. Things that felt considered not convenient. Fun stuff that belongs in the collection of someone who is actually Batman down.
So Batman merch yes, but picked with care noooooativeasy. Anything that was easy to find got left on the cutting room floor because it was easy to find. Other things got left off because they were Batman BUT felt like cheats masquerading as capes.
