Harry Potter
Fandoms come and go. Ours just doesn’t work like that. We grew up reading these books into our adulthood. Now we’re in our 30’s, buying homes, having children of our own, and still geeking out HARD over a good piece of Wizarding World swag. And no, that’s not us being nostalgic. We just plain old love it.

So it’s also exactly why shopping for a Harry Potter fan is both so easy and so incredibly easy to mess up. Easy because they will love anything you pick. Super easy to mess up because let’s be real – there’s A LOT of awful, cheap licensed bullshit out there that has ZERO effort put into it other than sticking the logo on it. That badly centred house crest mug. That.keyring that falls apart after two weeks. We’ve seen it all. We’ve ignored it all because that’s NOT what you should get for the truly obsessed Potterhead in your life.

What you should get them are the things that you know they’ll actually love. The gifts that feel thoughtful instead of opportunistic. There’s a huge difference between a gift that screams I saw Harry Potter and thought of you! and one that says I know you’re a Ravenclaw to your core, I know you’ve always related to Hermoine, and I found something that celebrates that instead of ridicules it.

ALL of it would pass our very own test of knowing if we’d be willing to hand it over to someone else.
