Fan bases. And then you have Lambeau Field in January. Ice cold, sold out, deafening. Those that bleed green and gold aren’t kidding around. They know their stuff. The guys that can rattle off Super Bowl wins without searching Google. The women that get genuinely excited when they see those colours. Want to buy them something? Here’s news for you. It’s not that difficult.
Stop thinking about it like shopping and start thinking about it like talking to another fan. That’s how we built this. We know the difference between a licensed jersey that never comes out of the drawer and something that someone actually wants to own. Sure there’s a lot of the former floating about. But the market for NFL gifts is huge and pretty dang boring. The same cutter on every mug. The same fleece scarf that could be purple with green polka dots and be for the Saints.
We didn’t want any of that. Just like you probably don’t want that either. Instead we’ve tried to focus on the things that will stand the test of time. Gifts that a Cheesehead opens and actually uses. wears. hangs up. grabs on game day. Little things that show you were paying attention to who they are, as well as who they root for. Most gifts miss that. But not yours. You know it matters.
Most importantly it matters when they’ve been a fan for their whole life. Gift giving to someone that lived through the Favre years and is now in the Rodgers era. They have been there, done that. And probably own all the ‘basic’ gear already. Instead of filling a stocking with volume, we tried to focus on things that would stand in for the basics (and be way nicer than what they already own) or skip the basics altogether. Things that are more unique, more thoughtful.
