Washington Nationals
For a lot of fans, buying gifts is never really enjoyable. You know the person you’re shopping for will appreciate something, but will it say “you’re the kind of person who likes this”? With who we’re buying for in mind, we spend way too much time searching for gifts that will actually work.
That said… there is one type of fan for whom gift buying can truly be rewarding. The Nationals fan. The person who has been with this team through the struggle years and remembers where they were in 2019. The person who looks at the standings before they look at anything else every morning. We know who you are. Finding gifts that are worthy of you… that’s the challenge.
That’s why we curated this collection. Because most licensed sports gear kinda sucks. Same hat. Same jersey. Same coffee mug with a giant logo on it that’ll fall off if you touch it with steam still inside. We’re not saying any of those things are inherently bad, but way too much of it is low quality, feels like an afterthought, and doesn’t tell you anything about the person you’re buying for other than they like baseball. We wanted more than that for you.
So everything we’ve included here has been picked by us, other giant Nationals fans who know what would actually make a difference. Not just to somebody who casually enjoys the team, but to you. To the person who this team matters to. To who talks about the roster like it’s their job’s job and feels tightness in their chest or sweat on their palms during games based on how the season is going. We know the curly W is so much more than just a logo to you. And every gift in this shop was chosen with that in mind.
We’ve thought about the kids who come to games and become obsessed with the sport. We’ve thought about the diehards who already own all the gear you can see them wearing. We’ve thought about the DC kids who drove miles away for school and never moved back. There’s not one gift that covers all of these Nationals fans, so we’ve been intentional about the gifts we selected.
If you’re reading this and know a Nationals fan, chances are you know them well enough to recognize which gift they’ll fall for. Trust yourself. The only thing worse than getting a Nationals fan a pointless gift is taking them for somebody who doesn’t notice the things you like.
