It’s hard to find something worthwhile to give the Rays fan in your life. Trust us, we know them. Those are the types that have stuck around through the Rays’ lean years, that know what it’s like to cheer for a team that plays way above its station, and more importantly know the difference between something that looks official but feels cheap as soon as you pick it up. We know them because we are shopping for them. Not the guy who watches one game on your TV every so often and considers himself a fan. We’re going to assume you know who they are and dig into what you should get them.
The Rays fanbase may not be the largest in all of baseball when it comes to raw numbers, but make no mistake about it: the fans in that community care. They wear that teal/bluish color joyously. They speak of the roster in such a way that you know they’ve done their research. When you buy that Rays fan something, you better get it right because they will notice when you don’t.
You will not find socks on this list because we do not find socks worthwhile. Everything we selected here we would be willing to hand over ourselves. These are all things that will sit on someone’s desk or be worn proudly to Tropicana Field or help make a Saturday morning just feel right. We could fill up this list with cheap stuff that simply showcases the Rays logo, but that’s not what we’re doing. Other websites will do that. We kept this list fairly short on purpose, because when buying for the true fan narrow is definitely the way to go.
