I know fans of teams that win all the time that don’t have that same attachment to the players they’re cheering for. These fans have invested years of their lives rooting for the Mariners to be good. They remember 88 wins. They know who JS Sparky was. You know they know. That’s why we haven’t included stupid merchandise with illustrations that wouldn’t pass muster in the children’s section of your local library.
This was a completely intentional choice. You won’t find forty-nine other options to sort through here because doing that is not helping you. We found fun, clever, awesome Mariners merch that you’d be happy to receive as a gift because it’s well made and not because it simply has the team logo embroidered over the side.
