Tie Clips
Most men that wear a tie have one clip. Maybe zero. Either given at some point or picked without trying half a dozen. The space between what most men have and what a truly well dressed man has is where this edit fits. Tie clips are detail that people understand on a subconscious level. Get it right and your whole outfit feels anchored. Lose it and your look feels off in a way no one can quite identify.
This collection was built with one man in mind. Often. The man that cares how he looks but doesn't do jewellery. The groom that wants one nice thing on the day. The father or grandfather that still ties a fucking Windsor every morning who would actually use this. These are the moments where a well chosen clip justifies it's own place in your wardrobe. Not as an accessory, but as attention to detail; a sign that somebody cared.
Buying a tie clip is a headache because the market is dominated by really cheap options and then really expensive options. There's not a lot worth buying in the middle. We have tried every budget option ourselves and ditched anything that felt cheap, looked mass produced or was sold in a box that made the whole purchase feel token. I think you will notice the quality difference here. These things have weight to them. Literally and philosophically. They come in a proper box and will stay in your drawer as a possession, rather than be forgotten at the bottom of a coat pocket.
You might not realise how important width is when you are looking for a clip. Ideally, it should sit three quarters down the tie; holding the tie to your shirts placket without crunching the material. We didn't want you finding that out by experimenting with our clips. Once you've got the width sorted, a good tie clip works on most tie sizes and won't tarnish for years.
Tie clips make great gifts. Not everyone wears one but they immediately elevate someone's wardrobe. Plus they're subtle in a way most jewellery is not. Anyone can buy a watch. Takes a bit more savoir faire to choose a tie clip. That's why they work.
