Coffee
Some folks drink coffee. Some folks live coffee. For them, the first cup isn’t optional. The afternoon one isn’t negotiable. It’s just quietly become one of the more serious bits of their day. If you have one of those people in your life, you already know a paper bag of supermarket beans with a ribbon around it isn’t going to cut it.
We built this collection with them in mind. That might be the person who has strong opinions about extraction time and water temperature. It might be the person who’s just started to suspect there’s a whole world beyond instant, and could do with a nice friendly hand guiding them in. Either is a worthy gift recipient. Neither should be forced to make do with a mug that comes with a slogan.
What we’ve included here, we tested against one criteria. Would we be happy to receive it as a gift ourselves. Eliminates quite a lot straight away. Novelty? Nope. Stuff that looks impressive in its box but ends up disappointing on the shelf? Nope. Anything that treats coffee as a personality-printed accesory as opposed to something you’d want to drink? Nope, no thanks. We’re not here to find gifts that perform. We’re here to find gifts that work.
