World of Warcraft
Twenty years is a long time to love something. World of Warcraft has existed since 2004 and the people who play it don't play it casually. They know their faction and their class. They probably have really strong opinions about certain expansions. If you know anything about Warcraft at all, buying a gift for one of these people is either incredibly easy or incredibly difficult.
If you put it in front of us.
We know WoW. We've spent years adventuring in Azeroth ourselves which is why we wanted to keep this collection small. There's a wealth of Warcraft merchandise out there and a lot of it is just...bad. Dried out mugs with fuzzy logo-art, cheap figurines shaped like potatoes, t-shirts with uncomfortable fit that go dull after two washes. You won't find it here.
Instead we've opted to give you things that a true Warcraft nerd would love to own. The kind of pieces they'll notice straight away, recognise as something they REALLY want and know you've put some effort into picking it out for them. That's the kind of gift that feels like something else entirely compared to something that just KIND OF SORT OF talks about the thing they love.
Also lets be honest, there's something special about getting something for someone who already has all the obvious stuff. Collector's editions, knit whiskers, the Frostmourne replica chilling in someone's closet somewhere. We thought of that guy too. Sure this is a great starter set for the person who dipped their toes into Battle for Azeroth but it's also for the veteran who lived through vanilla and is super tired of getting the same old gifts.
Speaking of which, the occasions should be pretty self-explanatory. Birthdays, Christmas, your buddy just nailed that last raid boss and deserves a reward. Or maybe your friend just likes WoW and you want to get them something they'll actually use. Why not blow their mind for a change?
We keep this collection small for a reason. We would rather show you 6 things we would buy ourselves rather than show you 50 we didn't love. Resist the urge to buy it all.
