Thor is cool. Norse mythology, Marvel's interpretation of that mythology violently swinging Mjolnir around in movies; there's something about the God of Thunder that just never gets old. Whether you grew up with him or not, Thor has a grip on the collective human imagination that reaches far past "look, a cool guy with a big hammer." We know adults who cosplay him. We know people who watch the movies years after their release like it's the first time. We know fans of the original myths who have read the stories multiple times.
Thor's fanbase is broad and it is passionate, and finding a gift that speaks to that obsession rather than mocks it requires legwork.
This list is for those people. Not the frat bro who enjoyed one movie and "kinda likes Thor" but loves their superhero ancestors were built from comics. We held each potential product to one standard. When the person you're buying for sees it, will they know that you took the time to pick something with Thor specifically in mind as opposed to it having his face slapped on it?
