Yoda
Some characters are for a single movie. A single moment. A single time in your life. Yoda is not that character. He’s been making you feel a thing for the better part of forty years now and in a world of media that is no small feat. There just something about Master Yoda that defies your ability to write him off as mere plastic crap, even when said gift is objectively a toy or a trinket. That’s magic right there. He earned that mystical trinket privilege.
We built this collection for the Star Wars nerd who has likely already seen everything. Who already owns some of this stuff. Who is therefore the absolute worst person to buy gifts for. Who will know instantly whether something is cheap ass licensing on a coffee mug or actually worth having in their home. We know this person. We are that person a little bit ourselves. So brand name value is not going to carry something here. It has to be good (first) and Yoda related (second) and both things have to play equally well together.
We looked for thought, care, craft and wit in everything we picked. Some leans harder into the jokes. The backwards sentence structure. The way Yoda’s sage advice sounds like complete bullshit until it clicks. Some of it is more subtle if that’s your speed. If you want something that lets you keep Yoda on your shelf or desk without screaming LOOK AT ME I LOVE SW!! We have options for both types of people. Not all Yoda fans are the same and we recognize that without dumping ten copies of the same thing on you.
That Force-themed stuff? We won’t lie we stole most of it. There’s a ton of that stuff out there and 99% of it sucks up your shelf real estate. What you’ll find here is curated. Meaningful. In some cases really hard to find unless you know someone who knows someone. Ain’t that us folks? We did the legwork so you don’t show up on Christmas or their birthday like every other damn giftees and grab whatever was cheapest at Starbucks.
