Indiana Jones
We’re looking for someone who already owns the films on DVD and Blu-ray. They have favourite that they will argue about vehemently if challenged. They likely wore that hat at some point and weren’t too ashamed about it. Finding your enthusiast isn’t difficult, their passion speaks for itself. But choosing something for them can be scary. The wrong gift feels cheap when stacked up next to something they love this much.
We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what will genuinely impress a true Indiana Jones fan. Forget the random merch that ends up on every forgettable movie products website. Skip past the.keyring and the coffee mug with some_quotes_inadequately.stamped onto it. Let’s face it; with love as big as this, you should feel bad if you don’t get it right.
What makes these movies work isn’t simply the thrills and excitement. Although, wow those set pieces are something else. No, it’s also the marriage of brain and brawn. The notion that intelligence is important and that the globe is full of legitimately wonderful and weird history to catch. The best gifts embrace some of that. They should feel like they’d fit amongst Indy’s collection of artefacts, not souvenir shop.
There’s plenty of Indiana Jones merch out there. Almost all of it sucks. Borrowing money and isn’t made with any love or care. We’ve trimmed all that excess fat. So that what remains here is curated with not just the movies in mind but the person you’re buying for. It’s crafted well. Or it’s useful. Or it’s just really cool and the sort of thing that will make a hard to impress fan feel seen.
